Crypto and fiat business account opening

Need business banking connected to crypto and fiat? Xavion reviews your company, conversion and settlement needs free and matches a suitable institution.

Need to move between company crypto holdings and the fiat payments your business runs on? Xavion offers a free consultation to assess your crypto-and-fiat account requirements and point you toward a suitable institution. Tell us the company’s activity, jurisdictions, assets, conversion needs and who owns the money being moved.

This is account-placement assistance, not a promise that any business can open a crypto bank account. Xavion is not a bank, exchange or custodian. A suitable arrangement must support both the crypto activity and the fiat account use; a crypto-friendly label alone is not enough. Any paid engagement is agreed separately, and the institution completes its own onboarding checks.

Short answer

Can Xavion help a company convert crypto receipts to fiat?

We assess the business, assets, counterparties and intended payments, then identify an account route that can support the documented conversion and fiat use. The institution confirms support and terms; we do not operate the conversion service ourselves.

  • Which cryptocurrencies can I ask about: You can ask about USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH and SOL. The institution confirms supported assets, networks, transaction directions and limits for your case. Do not transfer assets on an assumed network.
  • Is this only for licensed exchanges: No. A company using crypto for its own receipts or treasury can have different requirements from an exchange or customer-money service.
  • Can a BVI company or an internationally resident owner enquire: Yes. We review company structure, owners’ residence, operating markets, source of funds and permissions. A BVI registration or overseas residence does not by itself establish eligibility.

Who needs a connected crypto and fiat account route?

An international company paid in crypto may need fiat to pay staff, suppliers or tax liabilities. A Web3 software business may receive stablecoins from customers while its commercial expenses remain in euros, dollars or sterling. A trading business may want an evidenced conversion route for company treasury instead of routing business income through a director’s personal exchange account.

We review crypto-native businesses, blockchain companies and other lawful businesses with a documented crypto payment or treasury requirement. Licensed exchanges, OTC desks, market makers and businesses handling customers’ assets need a more detailed assessment than a company converting its own receipts. The activity, permissions and funds flow matter more than a broad industry label.

Tell us whether the company buys or sells crypto for itself, executes transactions for customers, holds customer balances or issues an asset. Those roles are not interchangeable. A payment account does not grant permission to provide regulated crypto services, and an existing crypto authorisation does not force a bank to accept the business.

Map the complete settlement path before choosing an account

Describe the route from the initial payer to the final beneficiary: the asset received, wallet or exchange used, conversion counterparty, resulting fiat balance and payment destination. State whose name each account is in and who legally owns the funds at each stage. Unexplained third-party transfers can prevent an otherwise useful arrangement from fitting your business.

We can assess requirements involving USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH or SOL alongside USD, EUR and GBP operating balances. Asset and network availability are confirmed for the case. An asset ticker is not enough: the institution must confirm the permitted network, wallet arrangements and transaction type before any transfer.

You may need SEPA for European expenses, sterling domestic payments or US dollar transfer routes. Confirm fiat collection and payout functions separately from conversion. A provider able to receive a crypto transfer does not necessarily support every exchange, wallet, beneficiary country or fiat payout method. Do not send a test transfer until approved instructions and account access are in place.

Own-company funds versus customer money

A company converting its own trading proceeds or treasury assets needs to explain how those assets were acquired and why the conversion is commercially necessary. An exchange or intermediary receiving customer funds needs to explain client onboarding, permissions, transaction monitoring and the treatment of customer balances. Sending both types through the same unexplained account is not an adequate account design.

The FATF’s virtual-asset guidance addresses risk-based controls and information requirements for relevant service providers. The actual obligations depend on your activity and local implementation. For European crypto-service businesses, MiCA permissions and the authorised-services perimeter also matter. Your compliance adviser should establish the applicable requirements; we do not replace that legal assessment.

If the firm needs customer-funds safeguarding, reserve custody or regulated client-money arrangements, identify that explicitly. An operating account connected to conversion is not automatically suitable for those purposes. We direct that requirement to the relevant account review rather than describe an ordinary business account as compliant by default.

Evidence that makes a crypto-to-fiat banking file understandable

Provide the business website, incorporation country, owners’ residence, products, customer countries and any licence or registration. Describe the source of crypto receipts, the assets and networks used, expected monthly conversion amounts, average transaction size and the fiat beneficiaries. Explain existing exchange and custody relationships.

The formal evidence pack may include ownership records, contracts, invoices, treasury policy, transaction history and an explanation of wallet control. Where relevant, the institution can ask about monitoring, sanctions screening and source-of-funds checks. A screenshot of a crypto balance alone does not explain its commercial origin or ownership.

Start the free consultation with a summary, not confidential identification attachments. Never share seed phrases, private keys or passwords. We help organise the account purpose and supporting file before approaching a suitable institution. We will also tell you when permissions, counterparties or a proposed flow make the route unsuitable rather than encouraging repeated speculative applications.

Conversion pricing, account terms and existing restrictions

Compare the actual conversion quote and fees, supported transfer routes, limits, balance arrangements and the legal identity of each provider involved. Crypto custody, conversion and fiat accounts may have different contractual providers and protections. Do not assume stablecoins have the same protections as insured bank deposits or that a product label establishes deposit insurance.

Ask whether the service supports recurring business conversions, incoming transfers from your chosen venues and payments to your intended beneficiaries. There is no universal settlement time, account-opening deadline or minimum balance stated here. Terms and availability are confirmed after the case is reviewed.

If your current bank has restricted an account, we can assess a lawful alternative for future business flows. We cannot unfreeze its balance, reverse its decision or help conceal the origin of funds. Write to Xavion now for a free opinion on your case and a suitable institution-matching route; any subsequent paid placement work is agreed separately.

Which cryptocurrencies can I ask about?

Is this only for licensed exchanges?
No. A company using crypto for its own receipts or treasury can have different requirements from an exchange or customer-money service. Describe your actual activity so the appropriate permissions and account route can be assessed.
Can a BVI company or an internationally resident owner enquire?
Yes. We review company structure, owners’ residence, operating markets, source of funds and permissions. A BVI registration or overseas residence does not by itself establish eligibility. Tell us the full ownership and business picture.
Does crypto-friendly banking guarantee approval?
No label guarantees approval. Xavion’s onboarding guarantee applies only to cases Xavion approves after its free review, with a suitable bank or payment-provider account—not every applicant, a chosen bank or every crypto service. The institution performs its own checks.
Can you release crypto-related funds frozen at my existing bank?
No. We can assess alternative banking for lawful future business flows, but cannot lift another institution’s restrictions, bypass sanctions or conceal transaction history. The free review and any paid assistance are separate.
