Need USD, EUR and GBP business accounts? Get a free Xavion review for international, online or high-risk businesses and find a suitable institution.

Xavion helps international businesses find a multi-currency business account suited to their actual customers, suppliers and ownership. Write to us now for a free consultation: we review your company and point you toward a suitable institution. If a mainstream provider has declined your business, tell us what happened rather than submitting the same unsupported application again.

We assess requirements for USD, EUR and GBP balances, international transfers and domestic payment routes where available. Xavion arranges and supports account applications; we are not the bank, do not hold your deposits and do not issue account details ourselves. Any paid placement work is agreed separately. The account institution confirms eligibility, pricing, protections and available functions.

Short answer

Can you help if my business was declined for a multi-currency account?

Yes. Send the company country, owners’ residence, business activity, payment needs and any stated refusal reason. We assess the case free and point you toward a suitable institution where we can support it. A previous refusal does not establish either automatic acceptance or permanent ineligibility.

  • Can I hold USD, EUR and GBP in one business account: We can assess a requirement for all three currency balances. The institution confirms which balances and account details it can provide for your company.
  • Does the account include SEPA, ACH and Faster Payments: These routes can be part of the requirement we assess, alongside Fedwire and SWIFT. Support, payment direction and limits must be confirmed for your specific account; no universal network entitlement is promised.
  • Can a non-resident or offshore company apply: You can request a review. Incorporation, owners’ residence, activity, substance, counterparties and fund origins determine which institutions can consider the case.

Which businesses should request a review?

This service is for companies receiving income or paying expenses across currencies: international e-commerce sellers, SaaS companies, agencies, affiliate businesses, creators operating through companies and import or export businesses. A trading company collecting dollars while paying European suppliers in euros has a different account requirement from an agency receiving sterling client payments. Describe that commercial purpose first.

We also review high-risk and crypto-related businesses where an institution can consider the activity. A lawful business can still fall outside a particular provider’s appetite. Licensing, customer locations, beneficial ownership and the origin of funds affect suitability; belonging to an industry does not mean automatic acceptance.

Owners in Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, France or Spain may operate a company elsewhere. Likewise, founders in Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam or the UAE may use a BVI or other international structure. Tell us both incorporation and residence. Neither a European address nor an offshore company alone determines where you can open an account.

USD, EUR and GBP: specify the payment route, not just the currency

A multi-currency balance is not necessarily a separate domestic bank account. Holding dollars does not establish that you can collect US ACH payments, and holding sterling does not automatically provide UK Faster Payments access. Account details, account-holder naming and permitted payment directions need separate confirmation.

Our review can assess a requirement for USD transfers using ACH or Fedwire, EUR payments through SEPA, GBP payments through Faster Payments and international SWIFT transfers. Availability depends on the institution, company profile and account agreement. Ask whether you need incoming collections, outgoing supplier payments or both; receiving capabilities may differ from sending capabilities.

Give us a list of important counterparties and their required payment instructions. If a marketplace or processor pays only to an account in the company’s own name, a pooled collection arrangement might not fit. Confirm acceptance with that payer before replacing its payout details. Do not assume an account includes card acquiring, direct debits, credit facilities or access to every network.

Foreign exchange, costs and operating limits

Keeping customer receipts in their original currency can reduce repeated conversions, but it does not eliminate all foreign-exchange costs. Compare the conversion rate, any spread or fee, transfer charges, account charges and potential correspondent-bank deductions. Published sample rates are not a quote for your business.

Tell us your expected monthly payment values and counts, typical transaction sizes, peak balances and the currencies you actually need to hold. Paying suppliers in additional currencies is different from maintaining balances in those currencies. We establish which requirement matters before comparing account routes.

Ask about transaction limits, beneficiary-country restrictions, account maintenance requirements and what happens during a compliance review. Neither a local-network transfer nor a SWIFT instruction guarantees instant delivery. Cut-offs, intermediary processing and checks can affect settlement. We do not promise a universal opening deadline or a fixed transfer speed.

What to send Xavion for a free account review

Start with your company name, incorporation country, website, actual activity and the owners’ countries of residence. Explain who pays the company, who the company pays, which currencies are involved and whether the account will handle only company funds. Mention any bank refusal, closure notice or urgent payout problem.

For formal onboarding, institutions can request incorporation records, an ownership chart, beneficial-owner identification, evidence of address, source-of-funds information and contracts or invoices supporting projected flows. Regulated businesses should explain their permissions and operating markets. Requirements vary; preparing a clear evidence file is more useful than assuming one universal checklist is enough.

Do not send identity scans, passwords or wallet private keys in your first chat message. A short business summary is enough to begin. We identify missing information, assess the account function and explain whether we can support a suitable route. Our initial consultation is free and without obligation; further paid assistance is agreed before it starts.

Bank account, payment account and protection of funds

Check the legal identity and regulatory status of the account provider before funding an account. A business payment account or e-money account is not automatically a bank deposit. The FCA explains that non-bank payment providers use safeguarding arrangements rather than the same deposit-protection treatment as banks; protections depend on the actual institution and applicable regime.

Ask who legally holds the account, how money is treated, which insolvency protections apply and whether any deposit guarantee covers your company and balance. Do not infer protection from an IBAN, a familiar payment network or a product described as banking. We help surface these questions; we do not certify an institution’s regulatory protection.

If your company also converts crypto into fiat, use our crypto-and-fiat account service to discuss the conversion leg. If you hold customers’ money, say so: an ordinary operating account is not automatically a safeguarding or client-money arrangement. Opening a replacement account cannot release money restricted at your existing bank.
